Northern Canada includes the provinces of Yukon, Northwestern Territories, and Nunavut, the last being Canada's newest province having been carved out of the Northwest Territories in 1999. While not officially part of the Northern Canada region, we've also included the province of Newfoundland and Labrador in the Northern Canada region. It's a vast region of glaciers and icebergs which is home to the world's best whale watching spot according to a recent article in CNN Travel.
