The Alexander Nevsky Church in Sofia, Bulgaria is one of the largest Eastern Orthodox churches in the world.  Construction began in 1882 but wasn't completed until 1912.  The cathedral holds up to 10k people. Contributor Mariqllz used a DJI drone to create this amazing aerial view of the cathedral, which is the largest tourist attraction in the country.  It was built in memorial to the soliders killed in the Russian-Turkish war which freed Bulgaria from Ottoman rule.

Top contributor Volovisione created this marvelous drone video of the largest church in Italy.  The Duomo (Cathedral) of Milan is one of the most well-known sites in this magnificent and industrious city, the capital of the Lombardy region and the second largest city in Italy.  Built over six centuries, it's the third largest church in all of Europe and the fourth largest in the world.  The Duomo was finally completed in 1805, and was the venue for Napoleon Bonaparte to declare himself King of Italy.

Behold this stunning drone video of the great Esztergom Cathedral, one of the great cultural treasures of Hungary and indeed of Central Europe.  It's in the city of the same name, which lies a short distance north of the Hungarian capital city Budapest.  Esztergom is arguably the cultural center of Hungary, and served as the capital of a medieval predecessor of modern Hungary.  Built on the banks of the mighty Danube River in the mid-19th century, the cathedral is the largest church in Hungary.

Brandonclark brings us this short but epic aerial of Vatican City, an enclave in the heart of Rome, Italy.  The city is dominated by the massive St. Peter's Basilica, which opens up onto Vatican Square.  Vatican City is the home of the top leadership of the Catholic Church, and is one of the most recognized sights inthe world.  Famously, Vatican City was the filming location for an extended scene in the 2006 thriller Mission: Impossible III although portions of the scene were filmed in Siena.

The Dubrovnik Cathedral is one of the best known sites in Dubrovnik, the highly photogenic city on Croatia's Damlation Coast.  The present structure was completed in the early 17th century on the site of several earlier versions.  The cathedral is distinguished by statues of St. Blaise which are built into the spaces between the four columns of the facade.  The distinctive design was the product of some of the most famous architects in Italy who were hired for the project.

The Supreme Parish and Collegiate Church in Berlin,  aka the Berlin Dom, is one of the most recognized sites in the German capital city.  It was built in 1905, when Berlin was at the peak of its imperial splendor under Kaiser Wilhelm II.  In this video, content creator Raf Neo used a DJI MAvic Pro drone to create an aerial tour of this amazing structure in the Museum Island area of the city, which was in the Western sector and surrounded by the Berlin Wall for decades.

Regensburg is the fourth largest city in Bavaria, Germany's southernmost state.  It's most prominent landmark is the Regensburg Cathedral, a 16th century structure in the old city center on the Danube River.  The cathedral escaped serious damage from a famous (and ultimately unsuccessful) Allied strategic bombing raid on Regensburg's aircraft factory in August, 1943, during the height of World War II.   Contributor Minglam created this amazing drone video of the architectural marvel.

Contributor Raf Neo used a DJI Mavic Pro drone to create this stunning tour of the highlights of the Hungarian capital city of Budapest.  The video opens and closes with spectacular shots of the St. Stephens Basilica, Hungary's greatest cultural treasure.  It is named after the first Hungarian king who ruled during the 10th and 11th centuries and is credited with converting his people to Christianity.  The church was completed in 1905 on the site of an old theater.

For a longer aerial tour of the great Catalan city Barcelona, this video by Martigen is for you.  It features extensive aerial footage of the city's Basilica otherwise known as Sagrada Familia, one of the most well known churches in the world despite being unfinished.  Construction on this masterpiece began in 1882, but for various reasons (including the Spanish Civil War) it is only now nearing completion, at which point it will be Europe's tallest religious structure.
