Check out this DVOW Finalist video of Australia's famous Story Bridge by top AirVuz contributor Oz Straya Panoramas.  Completed in 1940, this cantilever bridge spans the Brisbane River between the northern and southern suburbs of Brisbane, the capital of the state of Queensland and host city for the 2032 Summer Olympics.  The bridge has a total length of about 2.5k ft. (777 m), making it the longest cantilevered bridge in Australia; its main spain has a length of about 925 ft. (282 m) and maximum clearance of 100 ft. (around 30 m).  

Top AirVuz contributor timoksanen earned another Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic drone video of the waterskiing scene in Finland.  The video was filmed with a DJI Mavic 4 Pro drone over  Lake Lohja (Lohjanjärvi), which is located in the Uusimaa region of southern Finland.  Incredibly, Finland is home to almost 190,000 lakes of at least 500 square meters (around five acres) in size, although only about 3% of these lakes are at least .1 square km and only about .2% are greater than 10 square km.  

Top contributor ArturCarvalho won the DVOW contest with this fantastic drone video taken at a new air show in Porto, Portugal.  The inaugural Air Invictus air show was held in Porto and several other locations throughout Portugal in the middle of June, 2026.  Filming fast-moving stunt planes in the middle of a large city is obviously a high-risk undertaking, and was undertaken in close coordination with the event organisation, the Portuguese Public Security Police and the National Aeronautical Authority.

Top AirVuz contributor cristiantowers earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this outstanding drone video of the Pico do Fogo volcano in the North African island nation of Cape Verde.  The active stratovolcano is located on the island of Fogo, one of ten islands which make up the archipelago country.  The volcano has a summit of about 9.3k ft. above sea level (around 2.8k m), the highest spot in Cape Verde.  The volcano erupts fairly regularly (most recently in 2014), although the last eruption of the main cone was in 1680.  

Top contributor vlcdroneXperience earned a spot as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for this outstanding drone video taken on a climbing hike in the mountains of eastern Spain.  The video was filmed on the climb known as Alt de les Creus, which is a six mile (about 10 km) hike in the municipality of Tavernes de la Valldigna, about an hour's drive south of the port city of Valencia.  The hike features a vertical climb of about 1.8k ft. (about 550 m), and on this particular day the temperatures exceeded 100 degrees F (around 40 degrees C). 

AirVuz contributor cristtiantowers used a DJI Air 3S drone to create this fantastic aerial tour of the Spanish island of Tabarca, which was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist.  Tabarca is located in the Mediterranean Sea near the town of Santa Pola in Alicante, the southernmost of the three provinces which make up the Valencian Community region.  Famous for its marine reserve, Tabarca has the distinction of being the largest island in the Valencian Community as well as Spain's smallest permanently inhabited island.  

Top AirVuz contributor CinematicPier earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this excellent first person view (FPV) tour of an ancient town in central Italy.  The city of Spoleto was founded in the 10th century BC by the Umbri, the people from whom the region of Umbria gained its name.  It's located in the foothills of the Appenine Mountains in Perugia, the larger of the two Umbrian provinces.  The video features outstanding footage of the Ponte Delle Torri bridge, which as a length of 787 ft. (230 m).  

Top AirVuz contributor Kpax earned another Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this excellent aerial video from Switzerland.  The video was filmed over Niederbauen-Chulm, a mountain which overlooks Lake Lucerne in the central part of the country and which lies on the border between the cantons of Nidwalden and Uri.  Part of the Umer Alps subchain, Niederbauen Chulm has a summit altitude of about 6.3k ft. above sea level (just over 1.9k m).  The video was filmed with a DJI Mini 5 Pro drone.  

Check out this fantastic drone video from northern Finland by top AirVuz contributor timoksanen.  The video was filmed near the village of Kilpisjärvi in Enontekiö, an "arm" of Finland's Lapland region which extends from the northwestern part of the country into Sweden.  Situated well within the Arctic Circle, the sun literally never sets here during the period around the Summer Solstice, when this video was filmed.  The video features shots of the Saana fell (small mountain), Lake Tsahkaljärvi, and the waterfall Tsahkalputos.

AirVuz contributor DroneViewsCanada earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this outstanding drone video of mighty Niagara Falls.  Using a DJI Mini 5 pro drone, he was able to film the giant waterfall from both the Canadian and USA sides of Horseshoe Falls, the largest of the three falls which make up the system.  Situated on the Niagara River (which connects Lake Huron and Lake Erie.), the falls has a drop of 167 ft. (51 m) and has a peak flow rate of over 6 million cubic ft. (168k cubic m) per minute.  

Top AirVuz contributor Ericbartolo won the DVOW contest for this fantastic travel reel from Portugal.  The video opens with shots around Ponta da Piedade, a headland area in the town of Lagos in the (southern) Algarve region.  At the :20 mark, you'll see the Palace of Sintra, a Baroque masterpiece in the muntains to the  northwest of Lisbon.  Other featured locations include the fortified town of Obidos (1:00), the famous Dom Luís I Bridge in the northern city of Porto (1:34), the mountain town of Monsanto (2:29), and more.  

Top AirVuz contributor Dark Yellow Horizons earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this excellent video of two tiny islands in southern Thailand.  Ko Yao Yai and its smaller sister island  Ko Yao Noi are located in Phang Nga Bay, an inlet of the Andaman Sea (itself part of the larger Indian Ocean).  The two islands together occupy a land area of around 57 square mi. (around 147 square km).  They are part of the province of Phang Nga, which covers a portion of the western side of the Malay Peninsula as well as the islands of Phang Nga Bay.  

Top contributor Graham Green earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this outstanding drone video from the Australian state of Queensland.  The video opens with shots of Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Island, which lies off of Queensland's central coast.  At the :50 mark, you'll see Millaa Millaa Falls in Queensland's far north.  At 1:50, you'll head to Port Douglas, also in northern Queensland, and at 2:12 you'll see Airlie Beach, in the Whitsunday Region.  Other locations include Atherton Tablelands (3:33), Inskip Point (6:50), and more.  

Top AirVuz contributor timoksanen earned another DVOW Finalist spot for this fantastic drone video from Finland during the longest days of the year.  The video was filmed over a lake in southern Finland, which (unlike the northern part of the country) is below the Arctic Circle and does maintain a sunset (ie, the sun drops below the horizon) throughout the year.  However, during the period close to the Summer Solstice, the daylight never fully disappears, as you'll see from the portions of the video shot at 2:00AM.   

Top AirVuz contributor Michael Gisselere earned a spot as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for this fantastic inside tour of the Palace of Catalan Music (Palau de la Música Catalana), a famous music hall in Barcelona, Spain.  Designed by the famous Catalan architect and politician Lluís Domènech i Montaner, the Palau was built in the first decade of the 1900's.  It's located in the Casc Antic section of the old part of Barcelona.  In 1997, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site.  The video was filmed with a DJI 360 drone.  

Top AirVuz contributor Powzeal earned another Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this outstanding first person view (FPV) drone video of a trio of hot air balloons.  The video was filmed at sunrise near Annecy, France, in an area of rolling hills just west of the foothills of the French Alps.  Filmed using strict safety procedures, the video provides a unique perspective of the floating balloons, as the fast-moving drone is able to film each balloon from any direction and at considerable speeds.  

Top AirVuz contributor AlexCarboni FPV won the DVOW contest with this spectacular first person view (FPV) drone video of one of world's most famous structures: the Pantheon in Rome, Italy.  Originally a Roman temple dating to the reign of the emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century AD (and built on the site of a previous temple), it was converted to a Christian church about 500 years later.  In continuous use throughout its nearly 2,000 year history, it's considered one of the most famous of all buildings from the ancient world.   

Top AirVuz contributor hangtime FPV earned a spot as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for this outstanding drone video from the Portuguese island of Madeira, which is located off the coast of North Africa.  The video was filmed over the island's northern coastline around the municipality of Ribeira da Janela.  The video, which features first person view (FPV) drone footage, features the mouth of the town's namesake river (the longest on the island) as well as some of the spectacular offshore rock formations here.  

For a first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor Frankfurtpilot earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this fantastic aerial video from Budapest, Hungary.  The video was filmed at sunset over the Budapest Citadella, a fortress which sits atop Gellért Hill on the Buda (western) side of the Danube River.  Constructed in the mid-19th century, the fortress played an important role during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, when Soviet troops used the citadel to fire on protesters supporting the defiant Imre Nagy regime.  

Top AirVuz contributor timoksanen won the Drone Video of the Week contest with this fantastic video from Senja, Norway.  Senja is the country's second largest island, covering about 600 square mi (around 1.6k square km).  It is situated well north of the better-known Lofoten Islands in Troms County, well above the Arctic Circle.  Locations featured in the video include Ersfjord Beach, the the Devil's Teeth at Tungeneset, the summit of Segla's mountain, the satellite island of Husøy, and Knuten (filmed during the "midnight sun".

Brand-new contributor Perigon Perspective was picked as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest for this fantastic demo reel of their work with construction firms.  This company has obviously carved out an impressive niche filming construction sites, as the reel features shots of their work from over 100 different sites!  Construction projects, particularly larger projects, lend themselves well to being filmed by drones, as the aerial perspective is oftentimes the best way to showcase the scale of these undertakings.  

AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot richardgeres earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this outstanding FPV action sports reel.  The video opens with a series of shots of a high-speed boat, and at about the :15 mark you'll descend onto a racetrack.  Next up is a motorcycle chase scene, and at :47 you'll see an off-road race.  At :51, you'll see a massive racing yacht, followed by a dogsled race, and at 1:13 you'll chase a very fast-moving windsurfer.  Other highlights include chases of horses and motocross riders.  

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot MazzaFPV earned a spot as a Drone Video of the Week finalist for this fantastic video from southern Portugal.  The video was filmed over and around the Ponta da Piedade, a headland located near the town of Lagos in the region of Algarve, which covers the southernmost part of European Portugal.  The video was filmed with a DJI Avata 2 FPV drone.  It features the stunning coastal cliffs as well as the point's lighthouse, which dates to 1913.  

Top AirVuz contributor CragLord won the Drone Video of the Week contest in June of 2026 with this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video of a small prop plane cruising the mountains and glaciers of Alaska.  Filmed under close supervision and in accordance with applicable safety regulations, the video features some of the best footage we've ever seen of a drone chasing a full-scale aircraft.  The video was apparently filmed during a period of high winds, making it all the more impressive!  

Top contributor Gizmo Drones earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this outstanding drone video of Melbourne, Australia in the (Southern Hemisphere) Spring season.  At the :13 mark, there's a nice shot looking towards the Australia 108 and Eureka Towers, the city's two tallest skyscrapers.  Other featured locations include the Royal Botanical Gardens (:51), Bolte Bridge (:54), the Sports & Entertainment Complex (1:08), the Royal Exhibition Building (1:29 and 1:46), the Shrine of Remembrance (1:49), the Seafarers Bridge (1:51), and more.  

Explore the Italian island of Sardinia with top contributor Ericbartolo, who earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic travel video shot during the course of a four wheel expedition across the fabled isle.  Filmed with a DJI Mavic Pro 3 drone, the video will take you over Sardinia's winding coastline as well as over the mountains which cover most of the interior of the island.  The second-largest island in the Mediterranean after Sicily, Sardinia covers an area of about 9.3k square mi. (around 24k square km).    

Check out this fantastic drone video of a mountain on the Portuguese island of Madeira, compliments of AirVuz contributor hangtime FPV.  The video was filmed over the Pico do Areeiro, which has a peak altitude of just under 6k ft. (a little over 1.8k m) and is the third-highest on the island.  The mountain is located roughly in the middle of Madeira, due north from the capital city of Funchal on its southern coast.  It also serves as the starting point for hikes to Pico Ruivo, the tallest mountain on Madeira.

Top AirVuz contributor seb-depp earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this outstanding drone video of Scotland's Callanish Callanish Standing Stones, an important Neolithic ruins site in the Scottish Highlands.  Consisting of a circle of stones arrayed around a single large stone, they are situated on the western coast of the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, a string of islands off of Scotland's northwestern coast.  The circle, which has made numerous appearances in film, TV, and literature, is believed to date to 2600-2900 BC.  

Top AirVuz contributor Yannek earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this outstanding video from the Durmitor Mountains in the Southeast European country of Montenegro.  The mountains, much of which are part of Durmitor National Park, are located in the northern part of the roughly diamond-shaped country.  Part of the Dinaric Alps chain of mountains, the Durmitor are one of several ranges which cover much of the central and eastern part of the country.  The video was filmed with a DJI Air 3S drone.  

Top AirVuz contributor T - christ - T earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this outstanding video from China's Sichuan Province.  The video was filmed over the Yading Nature Reserve in Daocheng County, in the southwestern part of the inland province.  The preserve is home to three peaks which are a major pilgrimage site and which have been sanctified by the 5th Dalai Lama.  The tallest of the three peaks has a summit altitude of about 19.8k ft. above sea level, or just over 6k m.  

Top AirVuz contributor Chris Jeon was picked as a Drone Video of the Week FInalist for this excellent piece from South Korea.  The video features a mix of cinematic, first person view (FPV) and timelapse shots.  At the :24 mark, you'll see the Changseon-Samcheonpo Bridge in the southern city of Sacheon, and at :46 you'll see the Maisan Mountain in the western North Jeolla Province.  At 1:00, you'll see the Dutch windmill on Windy Hill on Geoje Island, and at 1:21 you'll see the skyline of the capital city of Seoul.

New AirVuz contributor 1fotokot earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this outstanding video from Montenegro's Kotor Bay.  The video was filmed over the twin islets of Our Lady of the Rocks ( Gospa od Škrpjela) and Saint George (Sveti Đorđe), which lie just off the coast of the town of Perast on the northern side of the inner part of the bay, which is an inlet of the Adriatic Sea.    St. George is a natural island, while Our Lady of the Rocks (which is distinguished by the Church of Our Lady of the Rocks) is man-made.  

Top AirVuz contributor tox_FPV won the Drone Video of the Week contest in July of 2026 with this fantastic compilation reel of footage from the Alps Mountains.  Filmed during 2024 and 2025, the video features dramatic shots from a series of ski resorts and runs and hiking trails across the region, home to some of the world's most spectacular alpine scenery.  Many of the shots feature the pilot and his traveling companions, framed in such a way to show how tiny human beings are compared to the giant mountains which make up the Alps system.  

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot Arnaud Lesuerer earned a spot as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for these FPV shots flying through canyons in southern France.  The first spot is near the Ponte du Diable bridge in a deep gorge of the Hérault River, near the village of Aniane in the Hérault Department.  At the 1:24 mark, you'll head to Fier Gorge, which lies on its namesake river just west of Annecy.  The last stop, starting just after 2:00, is Dioaz Gorge in the Mont Blanc region.  

Top AirVuz contributor AndreaSagui was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for this fantastic video from the Dolomite Mountains in northeastern Italy.  The video was filmed around Coldai Lake, which lies in the shadow of Mt. Civetta.  Prominently featured in the footage, Civetta is one of the most prominent peaks in the Dolomites, with a summit altitude of about 10.6k ft. above sea level (3.2k m).  It's in Belluno, one of the provinces of the region of Veneto.  The Dolomites are a subchain of the Southern Limestone Alps.  

Check out this stunning drone video from Indonesia by top contributor Muhamad AbuShakra.  The video opens with a shot from the crater of Mt. Bromo in the province of East Java.  At the :18 mark you'll see East Java's Tumpak Sewu Waterfall.  At 1:38, you'll see the Buddhist temple of Borobudur in Central Java, and at 2:30 you'll see the Tegallalang Rice Terraces near Ubud on Bali.  Other locations include Sembalun Village on Lombok (2:53), Prambanan temple in southern Java (3:01), Komodo National Park on Padar island (4:16), and more. 

Top AirVuz contributor Kpax earned another Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this outstanding video from the Alps Mountains in southern Switzerland.  The video was filmed in the area of Poncino della Croce, a mountain located in the Gambarogno region of the (primarily Italian-speaking) province of Ticino.  The mountain has a peak elevation of around 4.8k ft. above sea level (just under 1.5k m) and (as you'll see from the video) affords beautiful views of the Magadino Plain and, beyond that, Lake Maggiore.   

AirVuz contributor SirLinc earned a spot as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist in June of 2026 for this fantastic "teaser" of a video highlighting magnificent scenes of nature from around the world.  Opening with shots of South Africa's Blyde River Canyon, the video offers shots of other recognizable spots such as an erupting Mt. Agung on Bali in Indonesia.  The "stars" of the video though are the safari animals from Africa: you'll see elephants, giraffes, hippo's, zebra's, water buffalo, and more.  

Top AirVuz contributor earned another DVOW Finalist spot for this outstanding video from northern Vietnam.  The video was filmed in the rice terraces of of Mù Cang Chải, one of the districts of the province of Lào Cai, not far from Vietnam's northern border with China.  The district lies in the foothills of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, which stretches across the stretching roughly 180 km across the Lao Cai, Lai Chau, and Yen Bai provinces, with peaks reaching up to 10.3k ft above sea level (3.15k m), the highest in Indochina.  

Top AirVuz contributor Airviewstudio earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic drone video from northern Portugal. The video opens with spectacular shots of the Castle of Castro Laboreiro, a ruined hilltop fortress in the municipality of Melgaço.  At the 1:24 mark, you'll see the castle's namesake village.  At 2:00, there's a marvelous shot of the Castle of Melgaço, which was originally built during the reign of Portuguese King Afonso I in the 12th century.  The video was filmed with a DJI Mini 5 Pro.    

For his first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor Michael Putzer won the Drone Video of the Week contest with this spectacular international travel reel.  The video shows a "backwards" facing view with seamless transitions between the featured locations.  Starting at the :16 mark, you'll see the Fanal Forest on the Portugese island of Madeira, then transition to the Dolomite Mountains in northeastern Italy.  Other locations include Milnerton Beach in South Africa (1:18) and the Truc Lam Phat Tich Pagoda in Vietnam (2:04).  

Top AirVuz contributor Kpax earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this excellent drone video from Switzerland.  The video was filmed around the mountain sanctuary of Corte Nuovo in the Monte Comino region of Ticino, one of the principal southern (Italian-speaking) cantons.  It's not far from the northern arm of Lake Maggiore, on the Swiss-Italian border.  The shelter, which was built on the ruins of an older structure, sits at an altitude of just under 5.4k ft. above sea level (around 1.6k m).   

Top AirVuz contributor Matcoq garnered a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this outstanding drone video of the kitesurfing scene in northern Portugal.  The video was filmed near the town of Vila Nova de Gaia (also known simply as Gaia), which is part of the Porto District that encompasses Portugal's second-largest city.  With its pristine beaches (Gaia has the most Blue Flag Beaches of any Portuguese town) and strong, steady North Atlantic Ocean winds, Gaia has become one of the hubs of the emerging kitesurfing scene in Portugal.

Top AirVuz contributor and FPV drone pilot WinderWorks.me created this fantastic FPV fly-through of the National Museum of the United States Air Force, the world's oldest and largest military aviation museum.  The museum is located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base just outside Dayton, Ohio.  Its exhibits include over 350 aircraft and missiles, including several Presidential aircraft, the command module for the Apollo 15 lunar mission, the only surviving copy of the famous North American North American XB-70 Valkyrie, and more.

Top AirVuz contributor PANVELVET brings us this stunning drone video of the Spring cherry blossoms in China.  The video was filmed in the tea plantations of Longjing southwest of the great city of Hangzhou, capital of the coastal province of Zhejiang.  The Longjing tea produced here is considered one of China's most famous tea varieties.  The tea, whose name translates to "Dragon Well", is known for its leaves, which are shaped somewhat like human hands, as well as its distinctive sweet flavor.  

Top AirVuz contributor Pierre used a DJI Mini 3 Pro drone to create this stunning video from the Dolomite Mountains in northeastern Italy.  The video was filmed in the area around Gardena Pass, which connects the valleys Val Gardena and Val Badia in South Tyrol, one of the provinces which make up the Trentino Alto Adigio region.  The road through the pass circles the Sella Group, a massif whose peaks (the tallest of which is Piz Boè) reach an altitude of about 10.3k ft. above sea level (around 3.15k m).  

Top AirVuz contributor Gavrfpv earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this excellent first person view (FPV) drone video from the historic town of Kotor in Montenegro.  Shot with a micro-sized Pavo20 FPV quad, the video will take you over and around the city, which is located on the inner part of Kotor Bay, an inlet of the Adriatic Sea.  Kotor was considered one of the most important outposts of the Venetian Empire during the late Middle Ages, and was accordingly heavily fortified.  

Top AirVuz contributor Guillermo Garcia won the Drone Video of the Week contest in May of 2026 with this fantastic video from Peru.  The video opens with a stunning shot of the Seven Lagoons of Ausangate, a series of glacial lakes in the Andes Mountains.  At the :13 mark, you'll see Rainbow Mountain, aka Vinicunca..  At :46, you'll head into the Amazon River Basin, which actually covers over half of the Peruvian land area, and at 1:46 you'll see the oasis of Huacachina in the southwestern part of the country.  

AirVuz contributor Dark Yellow Horizons was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for this outstanding video from Thailand's southern province of Krabi.  The video was filmed in the area of Phanom Bencha, which is a mountain that reaches an altitude of about 4.6k ft. above sea level (around 1.4k m).  The mountain and its surroundings are mostly rainforest.  The mountain's peak lies around a dozen miles (around 20 km) north of the province's (namesake) capital city and a bit less distance due east of Phang Nga Bay.    

Top contributor goncaloafranco earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video from Iceland.  The video was filmed over and around Vestrahorn, a mountain which is part of the Stokksnes headlands near the town of Hofn, on the island's southeastern coast.  Vestrahorn is distinguished by its sharp jagged peaks, which rise to an altitude of about 1.5k ft. (about 500 m) above the nearby seas.  As you'll see in the video, the mountain overlooks one of Iceland's famous black sand beaches.  

Top AirVuz contributor was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for this energy-filled video from the glaciers of Alaska.  The video was filmed during the course of a "snowmobile date" to the Spencer Glacier.  The glacier is located in the Chugach National Forest, a little over an hour's drive south of Anchorage in the southwestern part of the vast state.  It rises to an altitude of about 3.5k ft. (around 1.1k m) above sea level, which (in the form of the Gulf of Alaska) lies only a few mi./km away.  

Top AirVuz contributor PANVELVET earned another Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic video of a bird sanctuary in inland China.  The video was filmed in Yongxiu County on the western shores of Poyang Lake in the inland province of Jiangxi.  Poyang Lake is China's largest freshwater lake, although its size varies widely based on the season.  Poyang is home to a very large number of migratory birds, including (during the winter) up to 90% of the endangered Siberian crane species.  

For a first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor Sandro_Schibli earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this excellent first person view (FPV) drone video of a professional hockey game in Switzerland.  In this game, the team HC Fribourg-Gottéron beat HC Davos for its first National League championship, playing at the Zondacrypto Arena, the Davos team's home ice.  Originally built in 1979 and renovated several time since, the arena has capacity for about 7.1k fans, about half of which can be seated.  

Top AirVuz contributor AnemosFPV earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video from Bosnia and Herzegovina on Europe's Balkan Peninsula.  Filmed with a DJI Avata 2 drone, the video features footage from the historic city of Mostar (home of the famous Stari Most bridge); the Visocica mountain range, which is part of the Dinaric Alps; the city of Konjic, near Mostar; Neretve Canyon; the Dreznica mountain, a bit northwest of Mostar; and the Blidinje Nature Park.

Top AirVuz contributor Liam Heights brings us this stunning travel video from the mountains of Southeastern Europe.  The video was created over the course of a seven day trip on the "Peaks of the Balkans" trek, which runs about 115 mi. (around 192 km) through Albania, Montenegro, and Kosovo.  The mountains here are the Prokletije (Accursed Mountains), which form the southernmost part of the Dinaric Alps chain which run along the western side of the Balkan Peninsula from Italy in the northwest to Albania in the southeast.   

Top contributor Laurent Paris brings us this outstanding drone video from the Apulia (Puglia) region of southeastern Italy.  Starting at the :20 mark, you'll see Polignano a Mare, a coastal town on the eastern side of the "heel" of Italy.  From there it's on to the Torre dell'Alto, near the town of Santa Caterina on the heel's western (Ionian Sea) side.   At :49, you'll see the watchtower and sea stacks of Sant’Andrea, near the heel's tip, followed by the Grotta della Poesia, a bit to the north, and the historic city of Bari.  

Check out this remarkable first person view (FPV) drone tour of a school in South Korea by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Hemon.  The video was filmed with a 360 camera, which are increasingly being used on FPV drones as their weight relative to traditional action cameras continues to decrease.  By capturing the drone's surroundings from all possible angles, 360 cameras allow the operator/creator pick their point of view after the flight has taken place, greatly expanding their cinematic potential.  

Top contributor Ericbartolo brings us this fantastic drone video from northern Spain, which was filmed during the course of a van trip through the Galicia, Asturias, Basque Country, and Castile and León regions.  The video opens with a shot of the Riaño Aqueduct in León, and at :14 you'll see the Silent Beach in Asturias.  At :21, you'll see the Beach of the Cathedrals in Galicia, followed by the Picos de Europa mountains.  Other locations include the basilica of Covadonga in Asturias (1:21), Galicia's Ézaro waterfall (2:12), and more.  

Top AirVuz contributor chrisneibauer brings us this outstanding drone video from the Cascade Mountains in the USA's Pacific Northwest.  The video was filmed on and around Big Four Mountain, which is located a short distance east of Granite Falls, Washington.  Part of the Mount Baker–Snoqualmie National Forest, Big Four has a summit elevation of about 6.2k ft. above sea level (just under 1.9k m).  The Cascades is a range of volcanic and non-volcanic mountains which extends from Canada's British Columbia to northern California.  

Top AirVuz contributor Fly-Cam.Fun brings us this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone tour of Poland's Silesian Stadium, one of the country's largest football venues.  It's located in the city of Chorzów near Katowice, in the Silesia region of southern Poland.  Originally built in the 1950's and extensively renovated beginning in 2009, for decades it was the home field of Poland's national team.  The video was filmed in connection with a match between Wisła Kraków and Ruch Chorzów, one of Polish football's most storied rivalries.  

Check out this fantastic drone video of Italy's fabled Amalfi Coast, compliments of top AirVuz contributor Mario Penny.  Most of the video was filmed over the towns of Maori and Minori, two small towns near the eastern end of the Amalfi Coast, which stretches along the southern side of the Sorrentine Peninsula south of Naples.   At the :21 mark, you'll see Mezzacapo Castle in Maori, and at :26 you'll see the Basilica of Saint Trofimena in Minori.  Other featured locations include Maori's Collegiate Church of Santa Maria a Mare (1:06). 

Elemental drones was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for this excellent aerial video from the Central American republic of Panama.  The areas filmed lie on the country's southern/western coastline along the Pacific Ocean.  Featured locations include  Isla de Coiba, the largest island in Central America, which is located in the central province of Veraguas; and Santa Catalina, a fishing village on the mainland part of Veraguas.  The video was filmed using two different drones: a DJI Mini 2 and a DJI Air 2S.  

Top contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot mcydro won the Drone Video of the Week contest with this fantastic FPV video from Nazaré, Portugal.  Located in the Centro region on the country's Silver Coast, Nazaré is generally considered the top surfing spot in Europe, and one of the most challenging in the world.  The presence of an underwater canyon and the prevailing currents produce perfectly breaking waves that include the largest ever surfed, an 86 ft. monster (26 m) tackled by German surfer Sebastian Steudtner in 2020.    

Top AirVuz contruibutor and first person view (FPV) pilot ArturCarvalho was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for this outstanding video filming mountain bikers plying a challenging trail in Sintra, Portugal just to the northwest of Lisbon.  The FPV portions of the video were filmed with a DJI Avata 2, while "establishing" shots were filmed with a DJI Mavic Pro 4.  The FPV sequences are particularly impressive given the density of the trees that closely line the trail.  

Top AirVuz contributor Kpax earned another Drone Video of the Week Finalilst spot with this excellent drone video from the Swiss Alps.  The video was filmed over and around Mt. Madone (Madone di Mergoscia), which is located between the Maggia and Verzasca Valleys in the southern (primarily Italian-speaking) canton of Ticino.  The mountain is part of the Lepontine Alps, a subchain of the Alps which is located along the Swiss-Italian border.  Madone has a summit elevation of 6.7k ft. above sea level, or a bit over 2k m.  

Check out this Drone Video of the Week Finalist from the Philippines by AirVuz contributor Powzeal.  The video was filmed using both a gimbal-stabilized DJI Mavic Pro 3 as well as a first person view (FPV) drone for fast-moving sequences.  At the :15 mark, you'll see the famous "Chocolate Hills" of Bohol, one of the central islands in the archipelago.  At the :26 mark, there's a great shot flying down a palm tree-line river, followed (at :41) by a view of a white sand beach.  Further on you'll be treated to some dramatic FPV beach runs.  

Check out this excellent drone video of the Thamalakane River in the African country of Botswana, compliments of AirVuz contributor Botswana tourism.  Unusually for any river, the Thamalakane has no clearly defined source or mouth.  It's part of the Okavango Delta, which is one of the few delta systems which doesn't flow into the sea.  Selected as one of the Seven Wonders of Africa in 2013, the Okavango Delta covers an area of about 8k square mi. (around 20k square km) and is a UNESCO World Heritage site.  

Top Airvuz contributor Airviewstudio brings us this excellent drone video from northern Portugal.  The video was filmed around the town of Monção, which is located in the Alto Minho district of the Norte region, not far from the border with Spain.  The video opens with a shot of the town center, which lies along the banks of the Minho River.  At the 2:48 mark, you'll see the Brejoeira Palace, a notable 18th century landmark.  Other featured locations include the Longos Vales's Monastery (seen at the 3:06 mark).  

Top AirVuz contributor Kpax earned another Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot with this outstanding video from Switzerland's Monte Boglia.  The mountain rises to a peak elevation of just under 5k ft. (a little over 1.5k meters) above sea level.  Monte Boglia is situated on the border between the (Italian-speaking) southern canton of Ticino and the Italian region of Lombardy.  The mountain overlooks the large glacial Lake Lugano.  The video was filmed during the winter months with a DJI Mini 5 Pro drone.  

Top contributor seb-depp brings us this excellent drone tour of Chichester Cathedral, one of England's oldest and largest churches.  It's located in the market town of the same name in West Sussex, near England's southern (Channel) coast.  The church was consecrated in 1108, just a few decades after the Norman Conquest, and was built on the site of an older Saxon church.  Its original Norman design was later supplemented with Gothic architectural elements, and its spire is the third-tallest of all English churches.  

AirVuz contributor Keygoco films brings us this outstanding drone video of Spain's Alcázar of Segovia, one of Europe's most famous medieval castles.  Located about an hour's drive northwest of Madrid, near the center of the country, it was built in the 12th century on the ruins of an old Roman fortification situated at the strategic confluence of two important rivers.  The castle was a royal residence for the rulers of the Kingdom of Castile and later for the kings and queens of unified Spain.  It is a UNESCO World Heritage site.  

Top AirVuz contributor zippomaker earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this excellent video from Vancouver, Canada.  The first shot was taken from over the Science Center at the eastern end of False Creek, looking northwest towards BC Place the city's main sports stadium.  In the second shot, the view is reversed, and you'll be looking west over False Creek in the direction of the Science Center.  Both shots were created using different flights at different times of day and merged into timelapses.  

Top AirVuz contributor Ananda Joinet earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this excellent video from the Aragon region of northern Spain.  The video opens with shots of the Mallos de Riglos, a set of rock formations located in the municipality of Las Peñas de Riglos in the province of Huesca.  Next up is the Wall of Finestres, which is not a man-made wall but rather a wall-shaped formation, located on the eastern edge of Huesca.  Last up is the Bardenas Reales, a "badlands" area in the neighboring province of Navarre.

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot Mauro Pagliai earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this highly creative one-shot FPV video of the famous Italian mountain fortress of Rocca Calascio.  Situated at an altitude of about 5k ft. above sea level (around 1.5k m) in the province of L'Aquila, it's the highest fortress in the Appenine Mountains.  The core of the structure dates to the 10th century.  Much like the fortress of Machu Picchu in the Andes Mountains, it was never tested in battle.  

AirVuz contributor Andrea Innao earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist pick for this fantastic drone video of an erupting Mt. Etna on the Italian island of Sicily.  One of the world's most active volcanoes, Etna is situated on the eastern side of the island, roughly between the cities of Messina and Cantania.  Located on the convergence between the African and Eurasian tectonic plates, it stands just under 11.2k ft. above sea level (around 3.4k m), making it Italy's tallest peak outside of the Alps.  

Top contributor Mauro Sciambi won the Drone  Video of the Week contest with this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone tour of Rome, Italy.  At the :08 mark, you'll climb the Spanish Steps, and at :16 you'll circle the tower of the Papal Basilica of Saint Mary the Great.  At :26, you'll see the Victor Emmanuel II Monument, and continue on to the ancient Colosseum.  Other featured locations include the St. Angelo Bridge over the Tiber River (:31), St. Peters Basilica (:37), and the Pantheon (:44).

Top contributor Liam Heights was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for this outstanding video from the Alps Mountains in the southern Germany state of Bavaria.  The video was filmed in the Allgäu Alps, a subchain of the Northern Limestone Alps, which run along the German-Austrian border.  Highly accessible by alpine paths, the Allgäu Alps reach altitudes of up to about 8.7k ft. above sea level (around 2.65k m).  It's known for its steep "grass mountains" which can reach gradients of up to 70 degrees.  

Top AirVuz contributor Makhorov earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this fantastic drone video of an unlikely activity: stand-up paddleboarding on a giant river in Siberian Russia at temperatures of minus 40 degrees (Farenheit and Celsius).  The video was filmed on the Ob River, one of the three giant waterways that drain this vast region that covers the western part of Russia.  While most of the system does eventually freeze each winter, this particular branch of the river remained in liquid form despite the frigid temperatures.   

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot Jeremy Taktouk was picked as a DVOW Finalist and also made the FPV Pilots to Watch list with this outstanding 2025 FPV reel.  The video features an impressive mix of dramatic FPV shots and "establishing" shots filmed with a gimbal-stabilized drone.  Highlights include car chasing shots (:at the :18 mark), a shot skimming a mountain ridge (:24), the Mt. Top contributor MICHAEL GISSELERE earned a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list for this fantastic FPV tour of Parc des Princes in Paris, one of France's most famous stadiums.  Located in the 16th  arrondissement, on the western side of the city, the original structure here opened in 1897.  The current stadium (the third on the site) dates to 1972.   The home field of the Paris Saint-Germain Football Club, it seats around 49k fans, making it the fifth-largest stadium in France.  It hosted events for the 1924 and 2024 Summer Olympics.  

Top contributor and FPV pilot AlexCarboni FPV brings us this excellent FPV tour of Rome, Italy.  Starting at about the :20 mark, you'll see the Piazza di Spagna and the adjacent Spanish Steps, folowed (at :53) by Trevi Fountain.  At around the 1:09 mark, you'll dive into the Piazza Navona and circle the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, and from there you'll head to the Piazza della Rotonda to see the Fontana del Pantheon and the ancient Pantheon.  Other featured locations include Mausoleum of Hadrian (2:51), the VE II Monument (3:19), and more.  

AirVuz contributor Sidsmith85 earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot with this excellent video from the Mediteranean island of Cyprus.  The focus of the video is the large migratory flamingo population on Paralimni Lake, which is located a bit north of the Ayia Napa area on the southeastern side of the island.  The small lake is one of the few wetlands areas left on Cyprus, as development has consumed much of the island's habitats which have helped to sustain bird life in the eastern Mediterranean.  

Top AirVuz contributor Dark Yellow Horizons earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this excellent video from the southern part of Thailand.  The video was filmed around the town of Ao Nang in the province of Krabi.  The area lies along the Andaman Sea (part of the Indian Ocean), near the southeastern entrance to Phang Nga Bay.  The video includes footage from Dragon Crest Mountain in Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park, which has a summit at about 1.9k ft. (565 m) and overlooks the Andaman Sea.  

Top AirVuz contributor Gustavo Quiroga earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this excellent video from the Andes Mountains in Argentina.  The video was filmed over the district of Potrerillos in the Luján de Cuyo Department of Mendoza, one of the states which borders Chile to the West and much of which is covered by the great mountain chain.  The peaks in this area reach over 20k ft. in altitude (about 6k m).  THe video was filmed with three different DJI drones: the Mini 3 Pro, Air 3, and Air 3S.  

Top AirVuz contributor T - christ - T brings us this fantastic drone video of a famous Buddhist sanctuary in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.  It's called Zizhy Monastery, and it's located in Dêngqên County in the eastern part of the region.  The complex is perched on a cliff face at an altitude of about 15.8 ft. above sea level (around 4.6k m) surrounded by six mountain peaks.  Zizhu is one of the most important sites in the Bon religion, which is related to mainstream Tibetan Buddhism but retains some indigenous features.  

In this video, top contributor Fabio Knoll takes us on an aerial tour of the Transylvania region of Romania.  At about the 1:12 mark, there's a great shot of Poenari Castle, which sits atop Mount Cetatea, just west of the Transfăgărășan road.  At 2:01, you'll see the Neo-Renaissance treasure Peleș Castle, followed (at 2:09) by the hilltop Rupea Citadel.  At 2:24, you'll see the famous Clock Tower of Sighișoara, and at 2:41 you'll see the famous Bran Castle, closely associated with Bram Stoker's Count Dracula.  

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot rcwolf won the FPV Video of the Month contest with this fantastic travel video from Iceland.  The video opens with shot of the famous plane wreck on one of Iceland's famous black sand beaches in the southeastern part of the island. At about the :40 mark, you'll dive a spectacular waterfall, followed by a fly-through of the Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon.  At 1:11, you'll see the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.  Other featured locations include the Vatnajökull ice cap. 

Top AirVuz contributor AnemosFPV brings us this fantastic drone video of the historic city of Mostar in Bosnia Herzegovina.  Mostar is the historic capital of Herzegovina, the region which covers the southern part of the country.  It is perhaps best known for its Stari Most Bridge, which crosses the Neretva River and which features prominently in the video.  Constructed during Ottoman rule in the mid-16th century, the bridge was the longest single-arch stone bridge in the world when it was completed.

Top AirVuz contributor Airviewstudio brings us this outstanding drone video of an important church in northern Spain.  It's called the athedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, and it's located in Zaragoza, the capital of its namesake province (one of the three which make up the region of Aragon).  Believed to be the first church dedicated to Mary, the Baroque structure dates to the 17th century, although the original church on the site was consecrated near the dawn of Christianity in the first century AD.  

Top contributor Airviewstudio brings us this excellent aerial tour of a number of important sites in the Aragon region of northern Spain.  First stop is the village of Rodén in the province of Zaragoza.  Next stop is the Orwell Trenches, where the British author George Orwell fought during that conflict.  The video will then take you to (in order) the Ibero Site of Cabezo de Alcalá archaelogical site in the province of Teruel, Val del Zafán Greenway, Montearagón Castle, the Aguarales de Valpalmas, and the Basilica del Pilar in Zaragoza.
