Top AirVuz contributor PANVELVET earned another Drone Video of the Week contest with this fantastic nighttime video of the city of Linyi, China.  Linyi is the largest city in Shandong, the country's second-most populous province and in many respects the cradle of Chinese civilization.  The video was filmed during a laser and light show over the Yi River, which flows southwards through the city.  It features some stunning shots (among others) of the city's giant television tower as well as its impressive riverfront.  

Top contributor Fabio Knoll returns to AirVuz with this fantastic video from southern  Chile, which was picked as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest.  The video was filmed over the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, the second-largest contiguous non-polar ice field in the world.  The field covers an area of about 6.4k square mi. (around 16.5k square km), most of which lies in the Aysén Region of Chile (about 15% of the field is part of neighboring Argentina), the most sparsely populated region of the country.  

Top German aerial filming company HighVision earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this fantastic 2025 drone showreel.  The video opens with a nice nighttime shot of Frankfurt, Germany's financial capital.  At the :08 mark, there's a beautiful view of a lodge somewhere in the Alps, followed by a series of spectacular first person view (FPV) shots.  At :33, you'll see a shot of a cooling tower being imploded, and at 1:15 you'll fly through a fireworks display.  Other highlights include factory fly-through's, music concerts, and more.  

AirVuz contributor and pilot Tadulea69 earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic aerial video of the city of Lisbon, Portugal and the surrounding region.  The video opens with shots of the 25 de Abril Bridge, which connects Lisbon with the opposite side of the Tagus River, followed by a view of Pena Palace in Sintra, a bit to the northwest of Lisbon.  At the :15 mark, you'll see Lisbon's Commerce Square, and at :20 you'll see the famous Christ the King statue in Almada, just south of Lisbon.  .  

Top AirVuz contributor Darrennina earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot with this excellent video of humpback whales wallowing in the waters of the South Pacific Ocean.  The video was filmed near the Matafonua Lodge Resort in the Kingdom of Tonga.  Tonga consists of about 170 islands, only about a quarter of which are inhabited.  They stretch out over 270k square mi. (around 700k square km) in Polynesia, a vast archipelago which encompasses over 1,000 islands in the South and Central Pacific.  

Top AirVuz contributor PANVELVET earned a DVOW Finalist spot with this fantastic video of a carnival atop China's Mt. Tai.  Mt. Tai is located just north of the city of Tai'an in Shandong, the giant northeastern province.  With a summit altitude of jsut over 5k ft. (1.5k m) above sea level (the highest point in Shandong), it's the easternmost of the Five Sacred Mountains, a group of peaks which have assumed great cosmological significance in Chinese culture for thousands of years.  The mountain is also a UNESCO World Heritage site.  

Top AirVuz contributor CG Films earned another Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot with this fantastic aerial video from the Italian city of Agropoli.  Situated in an area that's been inhabited for thousands of years, the town lies at the mouth of the river on the Tyrrhenian Sea (an inlet of the Mediterranean Sea) in the Cilento area of the province of Salerno, in the southern region of Campania.  The video, which includes first person view (FPV) drone footage, features the town itself as well as the surrounding hills and coastline.  

Check out this fantastic drone video of Amsterdam, Netherlands, compliments of former DVOW Finalist dronesantana007.  The video opens with a shot of the EYE Film Institute and the adjacent A'DAM Lookout tower on the waterfront of the IJ River.  At the 1:40 mark, you'll head across the river to see the Centraal Station, the city's main railway hub.  At 3:13, you'll see the Basilica of Saint Nicholas, the city's primary Roman Catholic church.  Starting at about 4:28, you'll fly along the Oudezijds Voorburgwal canal towards the Oude Kerk.  

Top AirVuz contributor LokmansIn earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic drone video from the Turkish Riviera.  The video was filmed over and around the town of Fethiye, which is part of the province of Muğla in the country's southwestern corner.  The site of the ancient city of Telmessos, Fethiye has evolved in recent years into one of the most popular sailing and yachting centers in the Mediterranean, the heart of the stretch of Aegean Sea and Mediterranean Sea coastline now known as the Turkish Riviera.    

Top contributor T - christ - T earned another DVOW Finalist spot for this fantastic drone video from China.  Some of the locations featured in the video include Lake Tai (at the :14 mark), on the border between two coastal provinces; Qinghai Lake, which lies in the western province of Qinghai (:17); Poyang Lake, China's largest freshwater lake, which lies in the Jiangxi (:21); the Lancang River, a Mekong River tributary (:43); the Tarim River, in Xinjiang Province; the Heilongjiang River in Northeastern China (:51); and more.  

Top AirVuz contributor escapewithmiguel won the Drone Video of the Week contest in November, 2025 with this inspiring travel video of the power of solitude.  Most of the video was shot in Portugal, with fantastic shots of the Douro River in the country's northern region, the spectacular rock formations of coastal Sintra, and its magnificent interior mountains.  You'll also be treated to some spectacular aerial views of the Bardenas Reales, an arid region of the Navarre region of neighboring Spain.  

Take an aerial tour of Montréal, Canada with this excellent drone video by YT Productions - Montréal.  The video opens with a shot of the Montreal Biosphere, which is located in Jean-Drapeau Park on an island of the St. Lawrence River.  At the :16 mark, you'll see the Clock Tower in the city's Old Port, and at :20 there's a great shot of the downtown skyline from the heights of Mount Royal Park.  and at :28 you'll see Mount Royal's Saint Joseph's Oratory.  Other highlights include Olympic Village (:40), Olympic Stadium (:43), and more.  
 

Former DVOW Finalist My Travels brings us this stunning drone video of Cagliari, the largest city on the Italian island of Sardinia.  Situated at the head of the Gulf of Cagliari on the southern coast of the island, Cagliari has been settled since Neolithic times, and was the capital of the Kingdom of Sardinia for five centuries.  At the :09 mark, you'll see the medieval town, which sits on a hill overlooking the gulf.  At :18, you'll see the Capo Sant'Elia Lighthouse, and at :42 you'll see a windsurfer plying the city's waters.  

Check out this excellent video from the mountains of Quebec, Canada, compliments of AIrVuz contributor nicolas.xanthos.  The video was filmed over and around Mt. Valin, which is located about a half hour drive from the town of Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region, which lies north of Quebec City.  The mountain has a peak altitude of about 3.2k ft. above sea level (just under 1k m).  The video also includes shots of the nearby Bras de l'Enfer River, which is a tributary of the Saguenay River.  

Check out this stunning drone video of Poland's Wrocław Cathedral, compliments of AirVuz contributor belu-fly.  It's one of the most recognized landmarks in the city, which is Poland's third-largest and the capital of the historical region of Silesia.  The current structure dates to the 13th century.  The cathedral was badly damaged in the closing months of World War II when the city (then known as Breslau and part of Germany) was beseiged by the Red Army.  It was restored to its present condition over the ensuing decades.    

Check out this excellent drone video of Basel, Switzerland by former DVOW Winner DanielDrone123.  The video was filmed during the Basel Autumn Fair, a major annual event in Switzerland's third-largest city.  It opens with shots of the Roche Towers, the two tallest buildings in the country as of 2025.  At 1:09, there's a great shot of the giant Ferris wheel which is temporarily set up next to the Basel Minster in the Münsterplatz, the city's oldest square.   Other shots feature the Rhine River, which also serves as the border with Germany.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Winner Arnaud Lesueur brings us this fantastic drone video from the French Alps.  Shot primarily with a first person view (FPV) drone and supplemented with gimbal-stabilized drone shots as well as a ground camera, the video will take you around the fabled village of Chamonix, just to the north of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in the alps at 15.8 ft. above sea level (4.8k m).  Chamonix hosted the 1924 Winter Olympics and is considered one of the world's finest skiing areas.  

Check out this fantastic drone video from Italy's Dolomite Mountains, which earned top contributor Javelin94 a DVOW Finalsit spot in November of 2025.  He used DJI Mini 3 Pro and a five inch first person view (FPV) quad to film these spectacular peaks, which are part of the Southern Limestone Alps and which cover parts of several provinces in northeastern Italy.  At the 1:28 mark, you'll look down on a road snaking through a mountain pass, and at about 3:30 you'll descend through a mist of clouds as you dive down a steep ridge.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Winner CG Films brings us this fantastic video of some magnificent mountains in southern Italy.  The video was filmed over the Alburni, which are located in the Cilento region of Salerno, one of the provinces of Campania in the southwestern part of the country.  They form part of the Appenine Mountains, a chain which runs down most of the Italian Peninsula.  They range up to about 5.7k ft. above sea level, or around 1.7k m.  The video was filmed with a drone as well as a ground camera.  

AirVuz contributor pioandreaperi brings us this stunning drone video of the Sagrada Familia church in Barcelona, Spain.  While it's the most recognized spot in the Catalan capital city, it's still unfinished - after over 140 years.  Construction on the great structure began in the 1880's and was interrupted by several design changes, the Spanish Civil War, and a myriad of technical issues - among other distinctions, it is the world's tallest church.  It is now expected to be completed sometime in 2026.  

Explore the fabled Spanish island of Mallorca with this outstanding drone video by former DVOW Finalist Michael Haubold.  At the :30 mark, you'll see the lighthouse of Capdepera, at the eastern tip of the island, and at :52 you'll see Cala Mesquida, a bit to the northwest of Capdepera.  Starting at 1:07, you'll get a fantastic view of Cap de Formentor, a long peninsula which forms the northernmost part of the island.  Other highlights include Cala Ratjada, just south of Capdepera (1:52), Cala Agulla, just to the north (2:33), and more.

AirVuz contributor JLjucan earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot in November of 2025 with this excellent international travel reel, which includes footage from first person view (FPV) drones.  Starting at about the :06 mark, there's a fantastic sequence involving a woman dancing in a field of sunflowers.  At :22, you'll chase a group of horsemen, and at :26 you'll dive a giant waterfall.  Other shots will take you through fireworks displays, past massive volcanoes, and over towering skyscrapers.  

Former DVOW Winner Bastien Nvs brings us this fantastic drone video from Indonesia.  At the :15 mark, you'll see the Tumpak Sewu waterfall on the island of Java and at :29 you'll see Java's Kawah Ijen volcanic crater lake.  At 1:12, there's a great shot of the smoking crater of Mt. Bromo (also on Java), and at 2:48 you'll see the Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue on the island of Bali.  Other highights include the famed rice terraces on Bali, and at 3:44 there's a fantastic shot of one of the beaches of Nusa Penida, a satellite island of Bali.   

For a second upload to AirVuz, new contributor Anna.s.l.p brings us this short-but-stunning drone video from the mountains of China's Sichuan Province.  Mt. Siguniang is the highest of the Qionglai range, which covers the north-central part of this inland province.  Siguniang has a peak elevation of about 20.5k ft. above sea level (around 6.3k m), making it the easternmost 20k (ft.) peak on Earth.  The highest of the mountain's four peaks, Yāomèi Fēng, is considered one of the world's most difficult climbs and wasn't ascended until 1981.  

Top AirVuz contributor T-christ-T earned another Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot with this fantastic video from Tibet, which has the distinction (among others) of being the highest region on earth.  Covering most of the Tibetan Plateau, as well as the Himalayan Mountains to the southwest, Tibet has an average elevation of about 14k ft. above sea level, or around 4.4k m.  Tibet is the source of some of Asia's (and in fact the world's) most important waterways, including the Yellow, Yangtze, Indus, Ganges, and Mekong Rivers.  

Check out this fantastic DVOW-winning drone video from Iceland, compliments of onlythenico.  At the :42 mark, you'll see the Gulfoss waterfall, one of the island's largest by water volume.  At :55, you'll see the Dynjadi waterfall, in the Wetsfjords region on Iceland's western side, and at 1:29 you'll see the Vatnajökull icecap, the second-largest in Europe.  Other highlights include the the Dyrhólaey rock arch on the southern coast (1:52), the famous Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon (2:15), and the erupting Fagradalsfjall volcano (2:58).  

Drone Video of the Week Finalist D.H. Productions brings us this fantastic drone video of a glacier in the western part of Norway.  It's called  Bøyabreen, and it's located near the town of Bøyum within Jostedalsbreen National Park in Vestand County.   Bøyabreen a side glacier of Jostedalsbreen, which covers an area of 188 square miles (about 487 square km) and is the largest glacier in continental Europe.  This glacier is maintained by high snowfall rather than low temperatures, and thus has a naturally high melting rate.  

New contributor D.H. Productions earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic video of a well-known glacier in the Austrian Alps.  It's called the Hintertux Glacier, and it's located in the Tuxertal valley, itself part of the Zillertal valley in the western state of Tyrol.  One of only two spot in the entire Alps region which is open for skiing all year, the glacier is up to 390 ft. thick (120 m) and reaches an altitude of up to about 10.7k ft. above sea level (around 3.25k m).  

Check out this fantastic drone video of the Stilluptal valley in Austria, compliments of AirVuz contributor D.H. Productions.  The valley, which runs in a roughly northwest-to-southeast direction, is formed by the peaks of the Zillertal Alps, a subchain of the Central Eastern Alps which lies primarily in the western Austrian state of Tyrol.  The video was filmed during the Fall colors season with a DJI Air 3S drone.  Lying within the Zillertal Alps Nature Park, the valley is about ten miles (around 17 km) in length.  

Prepare to be blown away by this DVOW Finalist video from the Portuguese island of Madeira, compliments of goncaloafranco.  Filmed primarily with an FPV drone, the video opens with an epic single shot sequence flying through a gap in the coastal rocks, up a waterfall, and under a series of bridges.  From there, you'll head into the island's mountainous interior, and at the :55 mark there's a stunning shot of the coastal village of Seixal.    Other highlights include some spectacular shots of Madeira's giant offshore rock formations.  

Top AirVuz contributor sinaysky earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic video from the Prokletije Mountains in Montenegro.  The video was filmed with a DJI Mavic Pro 4 over National Park Prokletije in the southern part of the country.  The Prokletije, also known as the Albanian Alps, form a part of the Dinaric Alps range which runs through the western side of the Balkan Peninsula.  The park is home to some of the most beautiful alpine scenery in the Southeast European country.  

Top AirVuz contributor davetke2002 brings us this fantastic drone video from the highest mountain in Vietnam.  The video was filmed over and around Fansipan, which is located near the town of Sa Pa in Lào Cai, one of the country's northernmost provinces.  The mountain has a summit elevation of about 10.3k ft. above sea level (a bit over 3.1k m) making it the highest peak not only in Vietnam but on the entire Indochina peninsula.  The video includes spectacular shots of the giant Buddha statue which sits near the mountains's summit.  

Top AirVuz contributor denisbarbas used a DJI Mini 5 Pro drone to create this stunnin gvideo from Iceland.  The video opens with a spectacular shot of the Skógafoss waterfall, near the southern tip of the island.  At the :10 mark, you'll see the Háifoss, which lies a bit to the north.  From there, you'll head into the Highlands, a mountainous area which covers much of south-central Iceland.  Just after 1:00, you'll fly through the famous Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon, and at 1:29 you'll see some of Iceland's native horses.  

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot Ninja earned a spot as a DVOW Finalist for this outstanding one-shot FPV video from Turkey's Uçhisar Castle.  It's technically not a castle but rather a small (now uninhabited) settlement built into one of the rock formations in its namesake town in Nevşehir Province, in the Cappadocia region in the middle of the country.  The "fairy tale" formations here have made Cappadocia famous, both in and of themselves and also for the hot air balloons which fly over them.   

Check out this fantastic drone video from Kazakhstan by top contributor be_mesmerized.  The video was filmed over the region of Mangystau, which covers the southwestern portion of this giant Central Asian republic.  As you'll see in the video, the landscape here is other-wordly, with spectacular rock formations rising hundreds of feet above the desert floor.  This part of the country is extremely lightly populated: most of its population of about 750k lives along the Caspian Sea to the west, with much of the interior virtually uninhabited.

Top AirVuz contributor Chris Jeon won the DVOW contest with this fantastic video from Japan.  Utilizing his trademark-style timelapse shots, most of the video was filmed in the Chūbu region of central Honshu, with shots of Nagoya, Japan's fourth-largest city; Shizuoka, which lies on Suruga Bay; Nagano, an inland city and prefecture capital; Toyama, which lies on Honshu's western coastline on the Sea of Japan; and Yamanashi, an inland city on the Fuefuki River.  You'll also see the town of Shiga in the neighboring region of Kansai.   

Prepare to be inspired by this incredible international travel video by top AirVuz contributor Feeling Drone - Guillermo Garcia.  The video features footage from a half-dozen spots around the world.  Featured locations include the Dolomite Mountains in northeastern Italy; the North Atlantic island nation of Iceland; the Canary Islands, a Spanish archipelago off the coast of North Africa; the Portuguese island of Madeira, also off the North Aftican Coast; and the Pyrenees Mountains, which form the natural boundary between France and Spain.  

Top AirVuz contributor VeronikaChi earned a DVOW Finalist spot in October, 2025 with this fantastic drone video from Mexico.  Filmed with a DJI Air 2S drone and supplemented with some stunning underwater camera footage, the video features footage from over a dozen of the 31 states (not including the Mexico City Federal District) including the states of Yucatán, Quintana Roo, Campeche, Chiapas, Puebla, Veracruz, Hidalgo, San Luis Potosí, Oaxaca, Sonora, Chihuahua, Baja California, and Baja California Sur.  

Check out this fantastic drone video of the city of Siena, Italy by top AirVuz contributor Mauro Pagliai.  Filmed with a gimbal-stabilized drone as well as a first person view (FPV) quad, the video opens with a shot diving down the Torre del Mangia, which overlooks the main square Piazza del Campo.  At the :15 mark (and again at :32), you'll fly past the bell tower of the Siena Cathedral, one of Italy's most-recognized cultural landmarks.  The video was filmed in connection with the 2025 Siena International Photo Awards ceremony.

Top AirVuz contributor T - christ - T used a DJI Mini 2 drone to create this fantastic drone video of China's Kanas Lake.  The lake is situated in a valley of the Altai Mountains in Xinjiang, China's northwesternmost province, and not far from the border with Russia.  The lake has a modest surface area of about 18 square mi. (46 square km) but has a maximum depth of almost 620 ft. (about 188 m), giving it an enormous water volume of over 1.3 cubic miles (about 54 billion cubic m).  It ultimately empties into Russia's Ob River.  

Multiple DVOW Finalist timoksanen bings us this outstanding Fall drone video from northern Finland.  It was filmed near the village of Hetta in the municipality of Enontekiö in the northwestern part of Lapland (Finland's northern region).  Popular with cross-country skiers, this is some of the most remote territory in continental Europe: the nearest airport with all-season service is about a two hour drive away.  Hetta is the "gateway" to Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, Finland's third-largest national park.  

Top contributor LokmansIn brings us this fantastic drone video from the great city of Istabul, Turkey.  At the :05 mark, you'll see the Topkapı Palace, which was the main residence of the sultans during much of the period of the Ottoman Empire.  At :13, you'll see Galata Tower, and around :25 there's a magnificent shot of the Süleymaniye Mosque.  At :40, you'll see the Galata Bridge, which crosses the Golden Horn, and at :56 there's a series of beautiful shot of the ultra-modern Ataşehir District including the Mimar Sinan Mosque at 1:11.    

Top AirVuz contributor T - christ - T earned another DVOW Finalist spot with this excellent nighttime drone video of Qingdao, an important port city in northeastern China.  The video opens with a spectacular dronelapse of the city center, which lies on the Yellow Sea, roughly halfway between Beijing and Shanghai.  Starting at around the :10 mark, you'll see the city's seaport, which is one of the ten busiest container ports in the world.  At :50, you'll see the Qingdao Jiaozhou Bay Bridge, one of the longest in the world.  

Top AirVuz contributor earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic drone video from the Central Asian republic of Kyrgyzstan.  Much of the video was filmed in the Tian Shan Mountains, which also cover portions of Kazakhstan, China, and Uzbekistan, and whose peaks range up to 24.4k ft. above sea level (7.4k m).  The video also includes footage from Ala Archa National Park (which lies within the Tian Shan), the Skazka Canyon, the Jeti Oguz rock formation, the Arabel Plateau, and the giant Lakes Issyk kul and Song kul.  

In this outstanding video by MCYDRO | FPV • DRONE, you'll take an aerial tour of a beautiful spot on the Atlantic Ocean coastline of Portugal.  The video was filmed around the town of São Martinho do Porto, which is located in the Alcobaça in the Leira District, which covers roughly the middle section of Portugal's coastline.  The town sits on a half-circular shaped bay which has a narrow opening to the sea and is home to one of the finest beaches in Portugal and indeed of any Atlantic Ocean beach in Europe.   

In this video, Multiple DVOW Winner haussmannvisuals takes us on an epic aerial exploration of the northern reaches of Norway.  The video was produced in this talented content creator's signature style, combining setup shots from a gimbal-stabilized DJI Mavic Pro 3 drone with fast-moving first person view (FPV) shots from a DJI Avata 2.  The video was filmed over the Lofoten Islands, an archipelago extending from the northern mainland, just north of the Arctic Circle, and Senja, an island which lies even further to the north.    

New contributor Martin_Ruggieri brings us this excellent drone video of an important landmark in Rome, Italy: the Column of the Immaculate.  Constructed in the 19th century, it's located in the southeastern part of the Piazza di Spagna, in the heart of the city.  The column itself is just under 40 ft. tall (about 12 m) and is topped by a bronze statue of the Virgin Mary.    Built by Rome's firemen, the column is the site of an annual Papal visit to commemorate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.  

Brand-new AirVuz contributor Martin_Ruggieri brings us this fantastic drone video of Rome's Mausoleum of Hadrian, also known as Castel Sant'Angelo.  Commissioned by its namesake emperor in the second century AD, it was the tallest building in Rome for centuries.  Situated in the Parco Adriano district on the northern bank of the Tiber and just east of Vatican City, it was later used as a papal fortress.  The Castel Sant'Angelo was de-commissioned in the early 20th century and is now a popular museum.  

For a first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor Martin_Ruggieri brings us this excellent drone video of the Pantheon in Rome, Italy.  Located in the Piazza della Rotonda square in the heart of the city, the Pantheon was originally a Roman temple which dates to the reign of the emperor Hadrian in the second century AD.  Converted to a Christian church in the 7th century AD, it is considered one of the best-preserved relics of the Roman Empire.  Among other distinctions, it has the world's largest unreinforced concrete dome.  

Take a tour of the Mediteranean island of Malta with this fantastic drone video by top contributor eCKsplorer.  The video opens with a shot of the famous Blue Lagoon, on the small "satellite" island of Camino, followed by Fort Manoel, northwest of Valletta.  At the 1:32 mark, you'll see Fort St. Elmo in Valletta, and at 4:08 you'll see that city's domed Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.  Other highlights include the city of Senglea (4:53) and Fort St. Elmo (5:19) on the Grand Harbor; the Blue Grotto (7:15); Mdina (9:10); and more.  

Top AirVuz contributor eCKsplorer used a DJI Mavic Air 2 drone to create this fantasti drone video of Aarhus, Denmark's second-largest city.  At the :09 mark, you'll see Aarhus Cathedral, which dates to the 12th century and is Denmark's tallest and longest church.  At :16 (and further on) you'll see the new (since 2004) home of the ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum, one of Denmark's oldest art museums. At :33, you'll see Aarhus Custom House, and at 4:59 you'll circle the Church of Our Lady, which also dates to the medieval period.  

Multiple DVOW Finalist eCKsplorer brings us this fantastic drone video of Bergen, Norway's second-largest city.  The city lies on an inlet of the North Sea on the Bergen Peninsula in Vestland County, in the western part of the country.  Founded in the 11th century AD, Bergen served as the capital of the proto-state of Norway until that role was assumed by Oslo in the early 14th century.  However, it remained Norway's largest city until well into the 19th century.  Due to its topography, it's sometimes called the City of Seven Mountains.

Former DVOW Finalist eCKsplorer used a DJI Air 2 drone to create this fantastic aerial tour of the waterfalls of the Faroe Islands, a Danish archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean.  The first stop is the Fossá waterfall, on the island of Stremoy.  At the :42 mark, you'll see the Múlafossur Waterfall on the island of Vágar.  At 2:10, there's a beautiful shot of Bøsdalafossur, also on Vágar, which drains the Sørvágsvatn lake into the sea.  Other featured waterfalls include Skarðsáfossur, Svartafoss, Týggjará, and Svartidalurfoss.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist eCKsplorer brings us this excellent drone video from the town of Furore on Italy's Amalfi Coast.  It's located roughly halfway out the southern side of the Sorrentine Peninsula, roughly halfway between the towns of Positano (to the west) and Amalfi to the east, on the Tyrrhenian Sea (part of the Mediterranean Sea) in the province of Salerno (one of the provinces which make up the Campania region of southern Italy).  The video was filmed with a DJI Mavic Air 2 drone.  

Former DVOW Finalist DESPACITO POR EL MUNDO brings us this excellent drone video from the Spanish Pyrenees.  The video features footage from five different villages in Huesca, the northernmost of the provinces of the Aragon region.  In order of appearance, they are: (1) Lanuza, which lies on the left bank of the Gállego River; (2) Echo, which is part of the  Valle de Hecho, a bit to the west; (3) Torla, which lies to the east of Lanuza; (4) Santa Cruz de las Serós, which lies to the south; and (5) Aínsa, to the southeast. 

Check out the brilliant Fall colors of the Wasatch Mountains in the USA state of Utah, compliments of top AirVuz contributor montesinosdroneworld.  Filmed with a DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone, and picked as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest, the video will take you over the following locations in the range, which runs through the north-central part of the state and is part of the greater Rocky Mountains system: Big Cottonwood Canyon, Guardsman Pass, Pine Canyon Road, and the town of Midway.  

Top contributor dronesantana007 brings us this fantastic drone video of the historic city of Ghent, Belgium.  The video opens with a shot of St. Michaels Bridge, which spans the Leie River in the heart of the city.  At the 1:33 mark, you'll fly over the 12th century Gravensteen Castle.  Starting at 1:45, there's an awesome shot flying towards four of the tallest buildings in the old city, left to right: Saint Bavo's Cathedral, the Belfry, St. Nicholas Church, and the Old Post Office.  Other highlights include St. Michaels Church (2:24).   

Check out these amazing drone views of Chongqing, China, compliments of zhoucreative.  At the :06 mark, you'll see the massive Raffles City Chongqing skyscraper complex, which lies at the tip of the peninsula where the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers converge.  At :10, you'll see the Dongshuimen Bridge, which crosses the Yangtze just upriver from the confluence, and at :24 you'll see the Huayan Temple, to the city's southwest.  At :34, there's a beautiful shot looking down at the heart of the city from the right (south) bank of the Yangtze.  

Top Airvuz contributor VAlsoiapg earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this excellent video from Venice, Italy, which was filmed with a DJI Avata 2 first person view (FPV) drone as well as a DJI Mavic Pro 4 gimbal-stabilized drone.  Opening with a shot of the "weather vane" atop St. Mark's Campanile, some of the locations featured in the video include the Rialto Bridge (first seen at the :10 mark), St. Mark's Square (:30), St Mark's Basilica (:55), the Doge's Palace (:59), and more.  
 

Top AirVuz contributor PANVELVET won another DVOW contest with this fantastic video from the great Chinese city of Shanghai.  The video opens with a shot looking over the Huangpu River towards the Pudong District, home of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower (left) and the city's two tallest skyscrapers on the right.  At the :50 mark, you'll see the Lupu Bridge.  Starting at 1:13, there's a dramatic timelapse sequence which will take you over the Pudong skyscrapers, and at 1:40 you'll see the historic Bund on the opposite side of the river.  

Top contributor denisbarbas used a DJI Mini 5 Pro to create this stunning video from some of the northernmost reaches of the Earth.  The video opens with a spectacular show looking down at an icebreaker making its way through an iceberg field, followed by a view of the Highlands of interior Iceland.  At the :58 mark, you'll see Iceland's Skogafoss waterfall, and starting at 1:17 there's a series of magnificent shots of a polar bear walking on an iceberg.  The video also features footage from Norway's far northern island of Svalbard.  

Top AirVuz contributor T - christ - T earned another DVOW Finalist spot with this fantastic drone video of the city of Hangzhou, China.  Capital of the coastal province of Zhejiang, Hangzhou is located a little over 100 mi. (around 180 km) southwest of Shanghai, on the estuary of the Qiantang River.  The video features epic shots (including dronelapse sequences) from across the city, one of the oldest and most historically important in China.  Highlights include the city's impressive core downtown district and some of its many bridges.   

Top AirVuz contributor Makhorov was picked as a DVOW Finalist for this fantastic drone video of polar bears in Russia's Far East.  The video was filmed at an abandoned polar station on (now uninhabited) Koluchin Island, which is located in the Chukchi Sea (an inlet of the Arctic Sea) just north of the Chukchi Peninsula, Russia's easternmost land mass.  The polar station was established in 1943 and abandoned in the early 1990's following the dissolution of the USSR.  This video footage appeared in a September, 2025 BBC news story.  

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot Road of Wonders earned a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list with this fantastic FPV video of the surfing scene in the Tuscany region of Italy.  The video was filmed on the beaches of Rosignano Solvay, which is located on Italy's western Mediteranean coastline in the Tuscany region, about 70 mi. (110 km) west of Florence.  The beaches here are famous for their white sands, and it's one of the few spots in the Mediterranean which are suitable for surfing.  

Top AirVuz contributor Hayden Kast earned a spot as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist for this fantastic drone video of a ski trip to Norway's Lofoten Islands.  While the islands lie within the Arctic Circle, due to the unusual ocean currents along this portion of Norway's western coastline they have an extremely mild winter climate, with daily mean temperatures remaining above freezing throughout the year.  This results, somewhat paradoxically, in a short skiing season: generally between early February and late April.

Top contributor Postandfly won the DVOW contest with this fantastic drone video of Mexico's (very active) Popocatépetl volcano.  Filmed with a DJI Mini 5 Pro, the video was filmed over Mexico's most famous mountain, which is located about 45 mi (around 75 km) southeast of Mexico City, near the eastern end of the great volcanic belt that runs on an east-west axis through the middle of the country.  It has a peak elevation of about 17.8k ft. above sea level (just over 5.4k meters) and has made numerous appearances in literature and art.  

Top AirVuz contributor Bali Drone Guide was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist in September, 2025 for this fantastic video from the Indonesian island of Labengki.  Labengki is a small island just off the coast of Sulawesi, the massive island which is Indonesia's fourth largest and is the eleventh largest island in the world (as measured by land area).  Labengki lies off of Southeast Sulawesi, which occupies the largest of the four peninsulas which make up much of the island's crazily-shaped land area.  

Top contributor SB Drone Sessions demonstrates the impressive capabilities of DJI's Mini 5 Pro drone in this video from New South Wales, Australia, which was picked for a DVOW Finalist spot.  Released in September, 2025, the DJI Mini 5 Pro features a 1" CMOS sensor (vs. 1/1.3" on the Mini 4 Pro) and can shoot 4K video at 120 frames per second (vs. 100 fps) and maintains a weight under 250g, which entails fewer restrictions in most countries.  The video was filmed along the NSW coast near Sydney and Mudgee, an inland town to the northwest.

The USA's New England region is famous for its Fall colors, attracting tourists from all over the world to enjoy the brilliant Autumn foliage.  In this video by top AirVuz contributor HamptonsDrone, you'll be treated to some brilliant aerial views of New England's seasonal splendor.  The video was filmed in multiple spots throughout the region, including the White Mountains in New Hampshire, the fog-tinged forests of Maine, and the marshes of Cape Cod in Massachusetts.  You'll also see the Fall cranberry harvest in Massachusetts.  

Top AirVuz contributor AndreaSagui was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist in September, 2025 for this fantastic wintertime drone video of the Dolomite Mountains in the Veneto region of northeastern Italy.   Part of the Southern Limestone Alps, the Dolomites are spread across seven provinces in the (west to east) Trentino-Alto-Adigio, Veneto, and Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions.  Known for their distinctive sharp peaks, the Dolomites range in height up to about 11k ft. above sea level (just over 3.3k m).  

Former Drone Video of the Week/Month Winner davetke2002 brings us this fantastic video of a well-known Buddhist statue in Vietnam.  The Lady Buddha Tay Bo Da Son sits atop Black Virgin (BA Den) Mountain near Tay Ninh, a provincial city located about 55 mi. (around 90 km) northwest of Ho Chi Minh City.  Cast from pure copper, the statue stands about 235 ft. tall (around 70 m).  Ba Den Mountain, which stands just under 3.3k ft. above sea level (996 m) and is the peak in southern Vietnam, is part of a complex of five mountains in the area.

AirVuz contributor italiadimezzo earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic drone video of a unique bridge in central Italy.  It's called the Ponte a Botte (Barrel Bridge), and it's located along the Via Flaminia (an ancient Roman road) in the commune of Scheggia e Pascelupo in Perugia, the northernmost of the two provinces in the central region of Umbria.  The video also features some stunning shots of the Appenine Mountains, a chain of peaks which runs down the "spine" of peninsular Italy.  

Top contributor Feeling Drone - Guillermo Garcia won the DVOW contest with this fantastic video from the Italian region of Tuscany.  At the :12 mark, you'll see the Badia a Passignano, in the province of Florence.  From there, you'll head to the town of Sorano in Grosseto, the southernmost Tuscan province.  Other featured locations include the famous walled town of San Gimignano in the province of Siena (1:10), the hillside town of Pitigliano in the province of Grosseto (1:34), and the walled town of Monteriggioni in SIena (1:38).    

Top contributor By_ewold earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this outstanding drone video of the Windmills at Kinderdijk, one of the most iconic sights of the Netherlands.  Located in their namesake village in the province of South Holland, the 19 mills date to the middle of the 18th century, when they were constructed to keep water out of the surrounding polders.  The largest collection of Dutch windmills, the site is a Dutch National Monument and has also been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.  

Prepare to be blown away by this stunning first person view (FPV) drone video of three very skilled (and brave) highliners working their way between three hot air balloons, compliments of AirVuz contributor Harrson.  The feat, believed to be the first of its kind, took place in late August, 2025 in Leszno, Poland.  The feat was originally planned to be done with just two highlines, but a third was eventually added. This video earned a spot as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest in September 2025.  

Check out these iconic aerial views of the Netherlands, compliments of former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Mehmet AKYÜZ.  While tulips are believed to have been first cultivated in what is now modern-day Iran during the 10th century AD, they came to the Netherlands via the Ottoman Empire sometime in the 16th century.  Tulip production in the Netherlands is concentrated in the province of Flevoland in the centrer of the country, as well as the Bollenstreek region between the cities of Amsterdam, the Hague, and Leiden.  

Talented AirVuz contributor LPHOTO TRILHAS E MONTANHAS earned a spot as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week with this stunning aerial video of Brazil's Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, one of the natural treasures of this giant South American country.  The park covers about 550 square mi. (around 1.5k square km) east of São José Bay in Maranhão, one of Brazil's northeasern states.  Famous for its rolling sand dunes, it's become one of a growing number of eco-tourism destinations in Brazil.  

Multiple DVOW Winner T - christ - T brings us this fantastic drone video of a giant alpine lake in western China.  It's called Sayram Lake, and it's located in Xinjiang, China's northwesternmost province, not far from the border with Kazakhstan.  Filled by runoff from the nearby Tian Shan Mountains, the lake covers an area of 177 square mi. (458 square km) and sits at an elevation of about 6.8k ft. above sea level (around 2.1k m).  The lake has been designated as one of the AAAAA Tourist Attractions of China, the highest ranking.

Check out this fantastic drone video of an erupting Mt. Etna in Italy, compliments of AirVuz contributor pioandreaperi.  A DVOW Finalist, the video was filmed during a periodic eruption of the mountain on the island of Sicily in September, 2025.  With a peak altitude of about 11.2k ft. above sea level (3.4k m), It's one of the world's most active volcanoes, with minor eruptions occurring almost continuously and major eruptions occurring more intermittently but still fairly frequently.  It has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Top AirVuz contributor Yannek earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot from the Prokletije Mountains on Europe's Balkan Peninsula.  Variously also known as the Accursed Mountains and the Albanian Alps, the mountains form the southernmost part of the broader Dinaric Alps mountain system and straddle the border between Montenegro and Albania.  Their peaks range up to about 8.8k ft. above sea level (around 2.7k m), the tallest (Zla Kolata) is the highest mountain in the entire Dinaric Alps system.

Top contributor Mattcoq earned a DVOW Finalist spot for this excellent drone video from the city of Porto, Portugal.  The video focuses on the connection of Portugal's second city to the sea at the mouth of the Douro River, the largest waterway on the Iberian peninsula by discharge volume.  It features footage of the breakwaters and lighthouses around the city, which protect it and provide navigation aids for ships entering or leaving the city's port facilities' at the 1:19 mark, you'll see the Felgueiras Lighthouse at the river's mouth.  

Top AirVuz contributor T - christ - T won the Drone Video of the Week with this fantastic drone video from the Chinese region of Tibet.  Covering most of the Tibetan Plateau, Tibet is the highest major region on earth, with an average elevation of about 14k ft. above sea level (around 4.4k m).  Due to the runoff from the massive mountains which surround the plateau (including Mt. Everest), Tibet is one of the world's major sources of freshwater, serving as the source for most of China's major rivers.  

Top AirVuz contributor timoksanen brings us this fantastic drone video from an island in the northern part of Norway.  It's called Kvaløya, and it's located north of the better-known Lofoten Islands in Troms County, well inside the Arctic Circle.  Covering an area of about 285 square miles (737 square km), it's Norway's fifth-largest island by area.  Kvaløya is connected to three neighboring islands as well as the mainland by bridge or underwater tunnel.  Most of its roughly 13k permanent residents live on its eastern side.  

Top AirVuz contributor zToshka earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this excellent video from the island of Lanzarote, one of Spain's Canary Islands located off the coast of North Africa.  Filmed with a DJI Mini 4 Pro, the first two-thirds of the video was filmed over the island's volcanic interior, while the remaining part covers the island's beaches.  Lanzarote is the northeasternmost of the main Canary Islands, and the fourth-largest by land area.  The entire island has been designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Top AirVuz contributor Dronescapes Ireland created this stunning video of highlight drone footage from the ancient ruins of Loughcrew, Ireland.  Situated in County Meath, an inland county in the eastern part of the island, the area is known for its hilltop tombs which sit atop a prominent hill.  One of just four passage tomb sites identified in Ireland, Loughcrew dates to the 4th millennium  BC - over 5,000 years ago.  One of Ireland's great cultural treasures, the area including the tombs and the hill is known as Slieve na Calliagh.

Top AirVuz contribuitor T - christ - T brings us this outstanding drone video from China's Huangshan Mountains.  Located in the inland eastern province of Anhui, the Huangshan feature peaks which range up to about 6k ft. above sea level (around 2k m).  The unusually shaped granite peaks of these mountains have caused this area to become one of China's major tourist destinations.  The mountains, which have been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, have inspired countless works of art over the centuries.  

Top AirVuz contributor mikereidphotography used a DJI Mavic Pro 4 to create this stunning drone video from a remote island in Indonesia.  The video was filmed over and around Piaynemo Island, which forms part of the Raja Ampat archipelago.  Piaynemo is much smaller than the four main islands of Raja Ampat, which consists of over 1,500 islands and cays (many of which are uninhabited) in the province of Southwest Papua, west of the giant island of New Guinea in the eastern part of the massive Indonesian archipelago.  

Get a unique perspective of the massive Istanbul Airport with this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video tour by top AirVuz contributor Shamkhal_fpv.  Filmed as a promotional video for the airport, the video will take you through this massive and modern facility, which essentially replaced the aging Atatürk Airport when it opened in 2018.  Designed to be constructed in four phases, it was already the second-busiest airport in Europe as of 2024.  It's located roughly 30 mi. (around 50 km) northwast of the city center.  

Top AirVuz contributor Drone Eye Perspective brings us this fantastic drone video of one of the largest football (soccer) stadiums in Italy.  It's the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, and it's located in Naples, the country's third-largest city.  The home field of SSC Napoli, which competes in the top league of Italian football, the stadium was completed in 1959.  It normally seats about 55k fans, making it the fourth-largest stadium in the country after the San Siro (in Milan), Stadio Olimpico (Rome), and San Nicola (Bari).  

Top AirVuz contributor nayyar2006 brings us this excellent drone video of the walled medieval town of San Gimignano  in Tuscany, Italy.  San Gimignano is situated in Siena, one of the nine Tuscan provinces.  Famous for its Romanesque and Gothic architecture, the town center has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.  It's known as the Town of Five Towers, for reasons which will be evident when you see the video.  It's also known for its distinctive dry aged ham, pecorino cheese, and its Vernaccia di San Gimignano white wine.
